• March 23, 2013 – UOCAVA absentee ballots for May 7 election will be ready (45 days before May 7 primary election).
• April 2, 2013 – Absentee voting for all other voters begins (35 days before May 7 primary election).
• April 8, 2013 – Deadline for voter registration for May 7 primary/special election (30 days before special election)
• May 6, 2013 – Nominating petitions of independent candidates for offices which a primary election may be held must be filed by 4 p.m. (day before primary/special election).
• May 7, 2013 – Primary/Special Election Day
• August 6, 2013 – Special Election Day
• August 7, 2013 – Nominating petitions of candidates in nonpartisan races must be filed by 4 p.m. (90 days before November 5 general election).
